A Buddhist film festival featuring a large number of Buddhist films will be screened at BMICH today (18).Over 50 international artists who have featured in Buddhist cultural films including artists from USA are expected in the island to attend the festival.

The festival will include Film Exhibitions and Competitions for Short, Feature, Documentary, Animated, Mobile films Music Videos and Workshops on Buddhism and Film Making, a Buddhist Art & Photography Exhibition, Vesak e-Card Competition, Animated Pandols, and several unique Vesak attractions.

The program is initiated by Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
