As the celebrations for 2600th Sambuddhathva Jayanthi continued throughout the week on a grand scale, a Buddhist Film Festival on the theme,' Making Sri Lanka the centre for Buddhist Cinema', was held at the BMICH under the patronage of Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa with many artists and celebrities from Asian countries attending.
The International Sambuddhathva Jayanthi Buddha Film Festival which concludes today also included a World Buddhist Monuments and Artifacts Exhibition, a Kingdom of Sakya exhibition and an art and photography exhibition.
